Christopher's made his first solo recording at the age of eleven - an angelic rendition of O for the Wings of a Dove. Hopes of a follow-up were dashed when his voice broke, so he took up electric guitar instead and formed the legendary Bedford band The Blackouts.

Christopher's face pops up on the telly from time to time and seasoned royal-watchers will recognise him as the nation's expert on Charles and Camilla. When not tuning his guitar he writes books such as the highly praised Dancing With The Devil (Harper-Collins). His latest project is a biography of Porfirio Rubirosa, the man with the biggest doodah in high society.

He has also written some songs which we look forward to hearing one day.
