Bill Whalley Drums
The man who put the Bill into Billericay got the music bug after discovering Elvis at
school. He started a beat group with school friends in 1960. Bill went on to be part
of the British Blues Boom of the late 60's playing regular gigs at the famous
Marquee Club. As an audio equipment designer in the late '60's he was part of the team producing
PA systems for such bands as The Pink Floyd, T-Rex, and King Crimson.
After working in the USA in the late '70's he returned to the UK and
set himself up as a successful Industrial Design consultant.
In 1997 at the Express Tavern in Brentford, he was press-ganged into joining
the almost legendary band Prick Up You Ears.
